Helen Keller
Helen Keller was born in 1880 and died in 1968. She became deaf and blind as a toddler and later became famous as an author and an activist. She received a college degree from Radcliffe College and was an activist for people with disabilities and other causes throughout her life. She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1964.
