Task 2: Endangered Animal
For the second task you will be researching ONE endangered animal that lives in the habitat that you chose.
You must:
- Find ONE endangered animal that you would want to research.
- Find a clear photograph of your animal and save it to your camera roll.
- Classify your animal according to its characteristics.
- What predators does your animal have?
- What is the average lifespan of your animal?
- Name 1 place that your animal lives. For example, does your animal build a nest in a tree? Does it burrow underground?
- What is your animal's prey?
- Explain why your animal is endangered and what is being done to protect your animal.
- What else could be done to save your species? Create a plan. The student or student with the most thought-out plan will be chosen to pick an endangered animal at the Milwaukee County Zoo for our school to sponsor.
Process
1. Decide on one endangered animal that you want to research from your habitat.
2. Find an image of that animal and save it to your camera roll.
3. Open the Task 2: Endangered Animal Chart in Notability. Complete each section of the chart about your endangered animal.
4. In Keynote, add a slide about your endangered animal. There should be 1 image and some background information about your animal.
5. In Keynote, add a slide about your plan to help save this animal from extinction. Remember, the student or students with the best plan will be chosen to pick an endangered animal at the Milwaukee County Zoo for our school to sponsor.
